    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • The quaternary ammonium sanitizer in the sanitizer bucket was tested and measured at 0 ppm. The sanitizer dispensed from the dispenser was also tested and measured below 200 ppm. The test strip showed only a faint discoloration, indicating insufficient sanitizer concentration.Corrective Actions Taken:There was no bleach available onsite at the time of inspection. Staff were instructed to purchase non-scented bleach to use as a temporary sanitizing solution until the sanitizer dispenser can be repaired. While onsite, the Public Health Inspector provided guidance on how to properly prepare a bleach sanitizing solution. Staff were also asked to send a photo of the bleach product once it has been purchased to confirm compliance.

      • Internal temperature of beef burger patties cooked in the broiler was between 65C-67C.Requirement: Ensure that beef burger patties are cooked to minimum 71 C.Cooking time was increased from 3:30 minutes to 3:45 minutes during inspection and internal cooking temperature of higher than 71 C was achieved.
