      • Facility specific written procedures were not in place. Complete the following written procedures and ensure they are easily accessible for all staff. 1. The cleansing of skin and mucous membrane. 2. Client care in the event of an accidental cut or puncture.3. Decontamination of any sink that will be used for both handwashing and equipment reprocessing

      • The lot number and the expiry date of the cartridges used for microneedling are not recorded in the client records. Please ensure the lot number and the expiry date of the needles used on the client are recorded with the client's intake forms.

      • Numbing cream that was not purchased over the counter was seen in the treatment room 1. The cream had lidocaine of >5%. Use of numbing creams that are not generic/ over the counter can cause adverse effects on clients as it is not specific to the client's need and should not be used. Violation corrected onsite.
