      • The Free Available Chlorine (FAC) was measured at 1.04 ppm. The FAC was adjusted on site during the inspection and was re-measured at 2.09 ppm. Please ensure that the whirlpool FAC is maintained at or above 2.0 ppm at all times.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The flow rate was measured at 80 GPM - TOO FAST. The calculated filtration rate was 16.29 GPM/square feet. The filtration rate must not exceed 12.5 GPM/square feet; thus, the flow rate must not exceed 61 GPM. Please maintain the flow rate between 35-61 GPM. The flow rate was adjusted on site and was measured at 50 GPM. The new filtration rate was calculated to be 10.18 GPM/square feet.
    • 13. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Non-Critical)?
      • The clock by the whirlpool area was missing. The clock was replaced during the inspection.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • There were missing floor tiles in the whirlpool basin. Please replace the floor tiles.

      • The whirlpool combined chlorine was not maintained as low as possible, it measured at 1.96 milligrams per litre.-Please reduce and maintain the combined chlorine at the lowest possible level.2. The total alkalinity was measured at 53 milligrams per litre.-Please adjust the whirlpool water chemicals and maintain total alkalinity between 60-180 milligrams per litre.

      • Layer of scum was observed on the whirlpool's skimmers.-Please drain the whirlpool, clean including scrubbing and sanitize the basin and the skimmers to remove all scum.

      • 1. There was no anti-entrapment compliance plan developed for the whirlpool.-Please complete the pool anti-entrapment compliance risk assessment and send the complete plan to the district inspector to ensure compliance.2.
