Fuzion Donuts

3344 Gateway Boulevard NW Edmonton AB T6J 6V1 · Food - General

Inspection summary

Fuzion Donuts has been inspected 3 times by Alberta Health Services (Environmental Public Health) since August 12, 2026. The most recent inspection, on August 17, 2026, found no infractions.

2 of 3 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there were 3 inspections with 3 infractions recorded. All recorded findings relate to upkeep, equipment or paperwork rather than direct food-handling risks.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk

Floors, walls and ceilings must be smooth and clean, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate food-safety risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.

Recorded 2 times on August 14, 2026. For example: Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?

  • Food safety training and certificationLower risk

Most jurisdictions require a certified food handler or manager on site, and some require allergen or food-worker training. These findings mean the paperwork or the trained person was missing at the time. They do not by themselves mean food was handled unsafely.

Recorded once on August 14, 2026. For example: Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?

    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • ** - tools, construction materials, and toxic items are stored in areas for food preparation and in food storage areas. Please remove all aspects of construction materials from areas to be inspected for the permit approval.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • ** - floors in the washroom, around the mop sink, and around the 2-compartment dishwashing sinks were not finished in a manner that was smooth, cleanable, non-absorbent and durable.** - baseboards installed though some areas have larger gaps that would allow for pest and water entry into the walls.** - tiles in the front area on the walls were not grouted (had to wait for countertop install) therefore were not impervious to water and to allow for easy cleaning
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • ** - sanitation was poor due to ongoing construction. Please ensure that all areas of the facility have been properly and fully cleaned before the next approval inspection and that all cleaning chemicals required are in place to test.
