- Onsite staff lacks knowledge of Personal Service Standards and safe practice. Ensure that all personal service workers onsite have received adequate training and understand legislative requirements.

- The hand washing station in the waxing room on the right side is not supplied with liquid soap. No use of alcohol based handrub noted onsite. Staff placed a liquid soap by the hand sink during inspection. Ensure that proper hand hygiene is performed by personal service workers and that all hand wash stations are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use towels.

- Signs of reuse of single-use, disposable items noted in the following areas:- Pedicure: dipping sticks left in orange scrubs with no garbage bin in the area for immediate disposal after use.- Nail stations: dirty nail files left in drawers.Staff discarded all dirty single-use items during inspection. Do not reuse single-use items and discard immediately after use.

Operator stated that the room is currently being used for staff, and not used for client service, while the room door is labelled waxing room. Remove all dirty, porous bedding materials for laundry. Any linen used in client rooms must be laundered after each client.

- High-level disinfectant, CS20, test strips are expired, and testing records are not kept up to date. The last testing date is August 31, 2025. CS20 disinfectant passed test during inspection by PHI.Purchase new test strips and keep testing records up to date.

- Three bottles of RTU intermediate level disinfectant noted to be expired since 2022. One bottle of unexpired intermediate level disinfectant was available. Disinfectant spray bottles in use have been replaced with unexpired disinfectants,Staff were instructed to remove all expired disinfectants and start monitoring expiration dates for all disinfectants used.
