      • Expired alcohol wipes observed in first aid kit. Please acquire non-expired wipes for the first-aid kit.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Expired Oxivir TB disinfectant observed. Ensure a readily available, non-expired disinfectant is available at all times to help facilitate effective cleaning and disinfection of surfaces in the facility. The operator prepared a 100ppm bleach/chlorine sanitizer during the inspection.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • The hot water temperature at the handwashing sink was measured at 54.6 degrees Celsius with a probe thermometer. Handwashing sinks accessible to children must be maintained below 54 degrees Celsius, with a recommended maximum temperature of 49 degrees Celsius for safety. To ensure consistent temperature control and reduce scalding risk, it is recommended that a mixing valve be installed.
