- 1. More than five drain flies observed around the espresso machine and near the dishwasher in the back area. 2. There is a large hole in the cupboard underneath the espresso machine where liquid waste is drained into and is likely the point of entry for the drain flies. The presence of pests must be controlled to ensure the facility is free from a pest infestation. Consult with a professional pest control to eliminate the drain flies. As well as consult with the building manager to determine a way to seal the hole to limit the entry points of the drain flies.
