    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Based on the volume (39,375 US Gal) and flow rate (75gpm), the pools turnover rate is 8.75 hours.As per the Pool Standards swimming pools constructed before November 2006 should be maintained at 6 hours turnover however, recirculation rate can be up to 8 hours if it can be demonstrated that the water quality meets the Pool Standards. Please increase flow to at least meet an 8-hour turnover period (minimum flow of: 82gpm)
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • The previously installed secondary anti-entrapment device (Vacless SRVS) has been removed when the pump was changed. The pool is equipped with two interconnected submerged suction outlets that are less than 66 centimeters apart. Please reinstall a secondary anti-entrapment device immediately.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • The pump has been replaced, and the anti-entrapment plan has not been updated to reflect this change. Please update the anti-entrapment plan to reflect the new pumps information (make, model, maximum flow rate, etc.).
