      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
      • Maple's dishwasher was not in operation as parts are on order to fix it. A working dishwasher is important to ensure dishes are washed and sanitized correctly to kill pathogens. The dishwasher in Harvest is being used to wash Maple's dishes as well.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Repair the dishwaser in Maple so it can wash and sanitize dishes.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
      • Harvest section, domestic dishwasher was NOT set on the "Sani-Rinse" cycle. The "Sanitizing" option in the Rinse cycle MUST be selected to kill bacteria. The duration/time the dishwasher runs does NOT determines if dishes are sanitized.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Retrain staff to ensure they are selecting the "Sani-Rinse" setting during the rinse cycle so dishes are being sanitized. During the inspection, staff were informed of this, but a formal training session or instructions shall be provided.

      • Harvest section has a leaking drinking water tap. Constantly leaking taps will attract pests and damage counter tops.

      • Inspect all walls and repair all damaged walls so they are durable, smooth, level, sealed, light colored, and cleanable.
