      • Observation: Rodent droppings observed within cupboard located under two-compartment sink. Pest activity appears to be restricted to this area only; no other signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection.

      • Observation: Damaged, exposed wood observed in cupboard under two compartment sink. Gaps/holes observed which may permit pest entry.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all surfaces are smooth, non-absorbent, easy to clean, and suitable for the intended purposed. Repair/replace surfaces within aforementioned cupboard to meet these requirements. Ensure all gaps/holes are properly sealed to limit potential entry of pests.       • Observation: What appeared to be rodent bait was observed in cupboard under two-compartment sink. Note: No items stored in aforementioned cupboard at time of inspection. No food storage in room where cupboard is located.
      • Corrective Action(s): Remove all rodent bait and ensure affected areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. Ensure bait is properly stored and is not located within the premises. Date to be corrected by: Today.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A single use cup was observed stored inside the sugar bin.
      • Corrective Action(s): Single use cup removed at time of inspection. Ensure that all scoops have purpose-built handles that can be kept outside of the food product, or scoops are kept outside of containers, to protect food from potential contamination. Do not use single use items as scoops as they are not designed for re-use and are not designed to be cleaned and sanitized. A re-usable plastic scoop with handle was available for use at time of inspection.

      • Observation: What appeared to be mouse and rat droppings were observed in room labeled "employees only." Rat droppings observed under two-compartment sink only. No food/utensils/equipment stored in this area. Few mouse droppings observed on shelving in the aforementioned room. No food/food equipment stored in this room; only one sealed bag of diposable cups observed (removed from area at time of inspection). Room is used mainly for storage of cleaning chemicals and tools.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure that all droppings are removed and all affected areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. Ensure that any holes or other entry points, particularly under two-compartment sink, are properly sealed to prevent pest entry. Ensure that there is no standing water or leaking water as this may attract pest activity (not observed at time of inspection). If evidence of pest activity persists, have a professional pest control operator service the facility. Date to be corrected by: September 7, 2018.
