    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1) There were 2 burnt out light bulbs in the downstairs storage room used to store drinks and a chest freezer.- Light bulbs to be replaced.2) The laminate countertop was bulging and peeling away under the drop coffee machine in the upstairs kitchen.- Counters and shelving surfaces to be finished in a manner that is smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable.

      • The flooring tiles in the basement near the standing oven at the bottom of the stairs, and by the 2-compartment sink were lifting, shifting, and creating gaps that are hard to clean.- Ensure the flooring is smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable.

      • The chlorine spray bottle was not labeled at the time of inspection.- The chlorine spray bottle was labeled during the inspection.

      • There were no chlorine test strips available to monitor sanitizer concentrations.- Ensure chlorine test strips are available.

      • 1) There were 2 burnt out light bulbs in the downstairs storage room used to store drinks and a chest freezer.2) There was a light bulb missing from downstairs sliding cooler. - Light bulbs to be replaced.3) Water was leaking from the tap at the 2-compartment sink downstairs when it was turned on.4) No tap was installed at the handwashing sink upstairs.- Taps to be fixed and free of leaks.5) Paint was peeling and exposing the raw wood underlay on the upstairs kitchen shelf by the stove where baking sheets are stored.6) Paint was peeling and exposing the raw wood underlay on the upstairs kitchen shelf by the central island under the shelf storing honey and coconut oil. 7) The laminate countertop was bulging and peeling away under the drop coffee machine in the upstairs kitchen.- Counters and shelving surfaces to be finished in a manner that is smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable.8) Some ceiling tiles were missing from the downstairs prep room near the 2-compartment sink.- Smooth and cleanable ceiling tiles to be installed.

      • There was food debris noted:1) On the outside of the cabinets under the dishwashing sinks upstairs.2) On the two shelve liners above the dishwashing sinks upstairs.3) On the shelf near the central island in the upstairs kitchen storing honey and coconut oil.4) In the pullout drawer at the central island in the upstairs kitchen storing clean food storage containers.5) In the pullout drawer at the central island in the upstairs kitchen storing utensils such as spoon and forks.6) At the bottom of the slide rails for the display cooler in the main kitchen upstairs.7) On the shelving of the lazy susan in the corner bottom cabinet of the upstairs kitchen.8) On the outside of the standing fridge and freezer at the bottom of the basement stairs.9) On the bottom ledge inside the standing fridge and freezer at the bottom of the basement stairs.10) On the outside of the black table mixer on the counter near the 2-compartment sink downstairs.- Ensure areas and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.11) There was no sanitation plan in place.- Ensure that a sanitation plan is developed and followed.
