- Some unlabeled packaged food items (Pheni) were stored for sale at the front desk.-Ensure all food items to be sold are properly labeled with date of preparation, best before date, source contact number and ingredients except if it is made and consumed that same day.
- 03. Is all food in this facility fit for human consumption and not unwholesome, spoiled, or adulterated?
- Food (Chings noodle schezwan) had no printed manufacture date to trace the best before date. The best before date stated 9 months after manufacture date.Operator stated these noodles were shipped in June 2025 with Best before date stating 9 months after manufacture date. No manufacture date was on the noodles except the registration date of 2019. Operator had public advisory on Best before date and expiry date from Health Canada posted at the side of the sliding vegetable freezer near the front desk for customers.2. Some can of coconut cream (Pacific cream) with best before date of May 2025 were store for sale on retail shelve. Requirement:-Sell product that the best before date or expiry date can easily be traced.-Separate or add a note to all product that are around best before date to allow consumers make inform choices.-Remove all expired products, not for sale or consumption.

Notified operator at the time to remove the bags off the ground and inform other staff of this as well.-Food bags were stored directly on floor in walk in cooler.- Rice boxes were stored directly on floor in sale area.Requirement: Store food at least 15 cm off the floor.

- Concentration of chlorine was so high in sanitizer solution of spray bottle in produce prep area that test strip faded immediately after dipping in the solution.Requirement:Overuse of chemicals on food contact surfaces will contaminate food. Ensure that concentration of chlorine is maintained at 100 ppm.
