- 1. There were push pins present in Classroom 1, where children under 3 years of age play. Push pins present a choking hazard for children 3 years and younger. Some push pins were removed during the inspection.Staff were requested to remove the remaining push pins located above the handwashing sink, as the area is accessible to children during handwashing.

- 1. Some of the cardboard play bricks in Classroom 3 were in disrepair. The bricks were taped together, which prevents effective cleaning and sanitizing. The damaged play bricks were discarded during the inspection. Cardboard toys must be discarded once they become damaged or can no longer be adequately cleaned and sanitized.

- 1. Several bleach sanitizer solutions measured between 500–1000 ppm. Bleach sanitizer used for daily operations should be maintained at 100 ppm. New sanitizer solution was prepared during the inspection, which measured 100 ppm.

- Staff reported that they wash their hands in the bathroom located in the other classroom after diapering clients.Handwashing sinks should be adjacent to the diapering station. The toy washing sink cannot be used for handwashing.
- 16. Does the social care facility have adequate lighting?
- There is no lighting in the children's washroom. Staff report maintenance will be stopping by to repair the issue.
- 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
- There are insufficient water temperatures in the facility. The toy washing sink and children's washroom faucet measured 25.6-27 degrees C. Staff reported maintenance will be stopping by to correct the issue.

- Hand sanitizers located in the facility had an expiry date of 2022. Please go through your hand sanitizers and replace with new bottles.The Purexall cleaning chemical used for outbreaks had an expiry date of December 2022. The operator stated the facility will be switching to 1000 ppm chlorine instead. Guidance document provided during inspection.
