    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • In OSC room one chlorine sanitizer was not labelled and another was accessible to children. Corrected during inspection.All chemicals are to be stored out of reach of the children and labelled.Note: one of the child proof locks for the cabinet where the change pad is not working. There was nothing stored inside which would be hazardous to children.

      • Diaper pad in toddler room is damaged on the edges. Two sleeping mats stored in the pre-school were frayed on the edges. By June 10, 2025 replace or repair the damaged diaper pad and sleeping mats.

      • Several lights were burned out in the OSC. Please replace.

      • OSC - The blue couch seat was torn and visibly dirty. Repair and cleaning required. Frequent steam cleaning and/or a washable cover for all the chairs are possible remedies.

      • Toddler bathroom - The brown shelving unit above the wash basin had exposed wood. Please ensure the shelving unit is finished to be smooth, cleanable and impervious to moisture.

      • OSC - The caulking behind the sink in the staff washroom was in disrepair. Please repair/replace.OSC - There were holes in the wall by the toilet where the toilet paper holder was previously installed in the middle washroom.

      • Baby Room - several ceiling tiles in the baby room had evidence of water damage indicated by water staining. Please inspect these areas and ensure there are no leaks in the ceiling cavity. Replace the affected ceiling tiles.
