    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • There was a storage area for stuffies "stuffy jail" in several rooms. The storage had elastic rope that could potentially be an entanglement or entrapment hazard. Please remove from use.Some staples and pushpins were observed in the infant room and toddler rooms. Please refrain from using staples and pushpins in the infant room as they can be hazardous if they fall to the floor.

      • Infant room - the change pad was torn. Replacement required.Toddler Room A - the change pad was torn and requires replacement.Preschool Boys Bathroom - the finish on the middle toilet seat was wearing and wood was exposed. Replacement required.Preschool room - the hinge was broken on the door in between two rooms (south room) Repair required.

      • The door hinge on the top of the door leading to Preschool C was coming out of the frame. Repair required.

      • An unknown chemical was present in the spray bottle labelled bleach solution in the infant room. Bottle was removed and replaced with a bleach solution.

      • PRESCHOOL C (staff washroom stall) - there was a hole in the wall which requires repair.

      • PRESCHOOL C - there was no hand dryer of paper towel available in the room to dry hands after hand washing.PRESCHOOL B - there was no paper towel installed in the dispenser at the right hand sink station within the room.

Please remove from use.INFANT ROOM - There were two electronic plushies observed in the infant room. Please remove from use as these items cannot be laundered nor can they be cleaned and disinfected.PRESCHOOL D - there was tape residue present on the top of the light box. Cleaning required.

      • BABY ROOM - the faucet at the baby room sink was loose. Please secure the facuet.PRESCHOOL A BATHROOM (left) - the toilet lid on the middle toilet was missing. Replacement required.

      • PRESCHOOL A (left bathroom) - the dispenser for the toilet paper was broken in the right stall. Toilet paper was not on the dispenser.PRESCHOOL C - toilet paper was not installed in the middle toilet stall.

      • Used cleaning cloths throughout the program were observed on the sinks or counters. Please ensure cleaning cloths are placed in the laundry after each use. Alternatively, paper towel may be used, or cleaning clothes may be stored in a bleach solution that is stored out of the reach of the children.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • TODDLER B - the diapering pad was being stored on top of the sleeping mats. Please ensure that there is a dedicated storage space available for the change pad.
