      • September 3, 2026: the paper towel roll was observed stored on the handwashing sink station. Please ensure paper towels are stored in a dispenser to prevent contamination and that the dispenser is repaired.The hand towel dispenser at the handwashing station located in Preschool C was broken; please repair and replenish the dispenser.

      • A bleach solution bottle was stored in the hand sink cabinet in Toddler C within reach of children. The bottle was relocated during the inspection as instructed. Please ensure all cleaning chemicals are stored securely and inaccessible to children at all times.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • The same sink was being used for handwashing/diapering activities and bottle filling/dumping in the Baby Room, Toddler A, Toddler B, and Toddler C. Please ensure diapering activities are separated from food-related activities to prevent cross-contamination. Where an additional sink is not available in the room, bottle filling must be conducted at a separate sink, such as the kitchen sink.The diaper disposal container in the Baby Room was observed open with a used diaper exposed. Please ensure the container remains closed and covered at all times to prevent cross-contamination.

      • A hole was observed in the wall behind the entrance door in the Baby Room. Please repair and refinish the wall to ensure the surface is smooth and easily cleanable.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Only one liquid hand soap was provided and shared between two handwashing stations in all washrooms. Please ensure each handwashing station is provided with its own supply of liquid hand soap to support proper handwashing.The hand towel dispenser at the handwashing station located in Preschool C was broken; please repair and replenish the dispenser.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • In the Baby Room, only one handwashing sink was available, located adjacent to the diapering station. The sink was being used for handwashing, diapering activities, bottle filling, and washing mouthed toys. Please provide an additional sink. Accessible handwashing sinks must be available in diapering areas, and a separate sink must be provided for food-related activities, including bottle filling.

      • Preschool A Boys' Washroom: The middle toilet seat cover was worn, with the underlying wood exposed. Please refinish or replace the toilet seat cover to ensure it is smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable.A red circular cushion in the Kinder Room had ripped surfaces; please repair or remove the cushion. Furnishings and surfaces must be smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable.

      • Staff responsible for toy washing could not correctly describe or demonstrate the approved toy cleaning and disinfecting procedure. Education was provided during the inspection. Please retrain all relevant staff on proper toy cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

      • The area under and around the hand sink cabinet in the Kinder Room was dirty, and dead insects were observed. Please thoroughly clean and maintain this area. The facility must be kept in a clean and sanitary condition and free of pests at all times.

      • There was a storage area for stuffies "stuffy jail" in several rooms. The storage had elastic rope that could potentially be an entanglement or entrapment hazard. Please refrain from using staples and pushpins in the infant room as they can be hazardous if they fall to the floor.

Please remove from use.INFANT ROOM - There were two electronic plushies observed in the infant room. Please remove from use as these items cannot be laundered nor can they be cleaned and disinfected.PRESCHOOL D - there was tape residue present on the top of the light box. Cleaning required.

      • PRESCHOOL A (left bathroom) - the dispenser for the toilet paper was broken in the right stall. Toilet paper was not on the dispenser.PRESCHOOL C - toilet paper was not installed in the middle toilet stall.

      • Used cleaning cloths throughout the program were observed on the sinks or counters. Please ensure cleaning cloths are placed in the laundry after each use. Alternatively, paper towel may be used, or cleaning clothes may be stored in a bleach solution that is stored out of the reach of the children.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • TODDLER B - the diapering pad was being stored on top of the sleeping mats. Please ensure that there is a dedicated storage space available for the change pad.
