      • Last pest control report from Orkin in June indicates no mice caught.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean and disinfect all areas with mouse droppings (use a flashlight)
      • You must be checking EACH MORNING for new mouse droppings to determine if you have an active infestation

      • - in hallway storage closet
      • - under shelving in staff area
      • Corrective Action(s): - Clean up all droppings and sanitize areas. Cleaning initiated at time of inspection.
      • - Monitor for any additional activity and ensure any additional droppings present are cleaned up promptly.
      • - Continue to maintain regular pest control service. Have Pest Control Technician identify any additional entrance points or harbourage areas and ensure these are addressed.
      • - Submit most recent Pest Control report to EHO for review.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - Handsink adjacent to two compartment sink inaccesible for use as items were stored in basin. Additionally, paper towel dispenser was empty.
      • Corrective Action(s): - Remove items from handsink basin - corrected. Ensure handsinks are always available/accessible and adequately stocked for handwashing.

      • Observation: - Mouse droppings noted alongs edges of floor in various areas of the food premises including:
      • - along wall where ice machine is located
      • - behind line cooler
      • - staff area
      • - in storage closet
      • Corrective Action(s): - Pull out moveable equipment and thoroughly clean edges of floor to remove mouse droppings and then sanitize areas.
      • - Monitor areas for any additional rodent activity to establish if current issue. If additional droppings are present, clean up droppings promptly and sanitize area and notify Pest Control Technician as additional control measures may be required.
      • - Continue to maintain regular service with pest control company and follow recommendations of Pest Control Technician. Provide copy of most recent pest control report to Environmental Health Officer.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 7 large trays of ramen noodles stored at room temperature -about 30 noodle servings per tray -noodles are at room temperature
      • Operator indicates the ramen noodles were brought out about 30 minutes ago
      • Corrective Action(s): These are perishable foods -only store enough of these noodles you will use within 2 hours -any leftovers must be thrown out NOT placed back in the fridge (no time tracking sheets being done)
      • Operator will place on timer like the pork and soft pork egg which are on a 1 hour expiry -okay
