- Observation: Numerous mouse droppings found within premise including (but not limited to): under plastic shelving with lowest shelf set to on the floor, along wall behind pallets and under/in front of coffee machines in work shop areas
- Corrective Action(s): Clean the above mentioned areas, monitor for new droppings daily and clean/sanitize areas as new droppings found.
- Continue to work with pest control company and follow their recommendations for addressing the pests.
- Get all product not on a pallet up off the floor at least 6".
- Recommend pulling all items away from wall at least 6" to facilitate cleaning and monitoring of pests.

- Observation: Observed the following areas that allow entry/harborage of pests:
- - gap under the door next to receiving bay doors, observed light coming through
- - hole in wall at floor level where the concrete wall transitions to dry wall
- - water pooling under/in front of double door cooler
- Corrective Action(s): - Install weather stripping that caps the bottom of the door that provides a complete seal under the bottom of the door
- - fill/cover the hole in the wall with a durable/rodent resistant material to prevent the movement of pests through this space
- - repair/adjust cooler to prevent water from leaking onto floor where pests can easily access it.

- Observation: 1) Several mouse droppings found in warehouse, mostly in/on a central area where multiple coffee machines are stored.
- 2) Significant amount of product observed being stored on the ground or on pallets.
- 3) Gaps under back door and bay door immediately next to it observed where mice could enter. It also appeared as though a pest control company had been through facility in the past however staff on site were unsure which one or the frequency of their visits. A regular pest control contract was required at last routine inspection. Email under signed inspector last report from pest control company.
- Corrective Action(s): 1) Remove all rodent droppings, cleaning and disinfecting areas with 1tsp bleach in 1L water solution.
- 2) Get all product/boxes up off the floor at least 6" and store product away from walls to discourage pest harborage.
- 3) Seal up gaps under both back door and adjacent bay door to prevent pest entry.

- Observation:
- Observed rodent droppings under and between pallets, and under coffee machines.
- Corrective Action(s):
- The following actions MUST be taken to rid of the rodents:
- 1) Lift or move all pallets and items off the floor, so the rodent droppings and other debris is cleaned up. Use hot water, soap and bleach to remove the droppings. The frequency at which these areas are cleaned must be increased.
- 2) Pallets shall be placed at least 6" away from all walls to discourage rodent activity.
- 3) Hire a professional pest control company to rid of the rodents, using mechanical means only. Complete and follow all recommendations made by the pest technician. Email our office the reports provided by the pest company to [email protected].
- 4) Block all openings or holes that are 1/4" of larger with metal or steel wool, or install door guards at the base of doors. Observed openings at the bottom of the back door and around the loading doors.
- 5) Increase the cleaning frequency of the warehouse floor.
- 6) Store all items (even coffee machines) at least 6" off the floor for easier cleaning of the floor and to prevent areas where rodents will harbor due to lack of movement of items.

- Observation:
- 1) The warehouse floor, especially under pallets and in the coffee machine repair area, have accumulated dust, coffee stains, and debris. The lack of cleaning and/or moving of items to clean under them will attract and harbor pests.
- 2) The interior walls and sliding doors of the coolers have dust, food debris, and/or mildew on them.
- Corrective Action(s):
- 1) Immediately start moving pallets away from walls and sweeping and moping the floor to remove the dust and debris, and place the pallet back. This shall be done on a regular basis, especially when the pallet is empty.
- 2) Immediately mop the floor of the coffee machine repair area with hot water, soap and bleach to remove food debris and stains. The mat shall also be washed and cleaned. This shall be done on a regular basis (at least once a week or even daily).
- 3) Immediately wash the interior walls and doors of the coolers with hot water, soap, and bleach to remove all the debris. This shall be done on a weekly basis.
