      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Low temperature dishwasher chlorine sanitizer was measured at less than 50 ppm at the plate level after the final rinse cycle. The dishwasher was tested five times at the time of inspection (priming and changing to a different bleach container).
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure dishwasher final rinse cycle can register at 50 to 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer at the plate level before using dishwasher. Operator prepared an alternate sanitizing method with chlorine sanitizer in a large tub registering at 200 ppm at the time of inspection. At the end of the inspection, the operator was able to get the dishwasher to register at 50 to 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer at the plate level after the final rinse cycle.

      • Observation: Dishwasher final rinse cycle less than 50 ppm Chlorine solution detected. Repair required. Records indicate it sanitizing cycle was working yesterday. The unit was tested after running the cycle 4 times at the time of inspection and was not working.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure dishwasher final rinse cycle can reach at least 50 ppm to 100 ppm Chlorine solution before using this unit. In the mean time, use the manual 3 compartment sink method with last step as sanitizing step of 100 ppm Chlorine solution in a large tub. Change sanitizer solution as needed. Correction/repair required in one day.
