- 1. Back door had a gap between the door and doorframe. This was also documented on the most recent pest control report, and a work order was already in place. Action Required:Repair or replace door weatherstripping by January 8, 2026, to close the gap between the door and the doorframe to prevent entry of pests.2. No evidence of pest activity noted at the time of inspection.3. Recent pest control report by a certified pest control company was available onsite and had no documented pest activity.

- Observed multiple wet, used cleaning cloths mounted on countertops. Corrected during inspection. PHI directed Manager to remove the cloths from and sanitize the countertops.Action Required:Ensure cleaning cloths are stored in approved sanitizers (100ppm Bleach or 200ppm QUATs, or 12.5-25ppm Iodine) when not in use to prevent contamination of food contact surfaces and to facilitate effective cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

- 1. Observed front of house hand sink obstructed by a coffee cup that was mounted on the countertop in from of the sink. Corrected during inspection. Manager directed to remove the coffee cup from the sink by PHI.2. Observed back of house hand sink obstructed by a scrubbing brush that was stored in the hand sink basin. Corrected during inspection. Manager directed to remove the scrubbing brush from the sink's basin by PHI.Action Required:Do not store any items in hand sink basins or around the hand sink to facilitate easy access to the hand sink to promote handwashing..

- The two white bulk rice containers had accumulated food debris on the exterior part of the containers. Action Required:Thoroughly clean and sanitize affected containers immediately and email PHI photo evidence before the end of the day. Ensure all utensils, food equipment and food contact surfaces are maintained in a clean condition to facilitate sanitary food handling and to prevent conditions that may promote harborage of pests.

- Food handling permit posted was outdated. CDI: current permit printed & posted on display.

- 2024-05-031) All faucets in washroom appeared to be in working condition. One hand dryer was not operational - washroom was closed. 2) Walls in the mop sink area were in poor repair. 3) The light in the hallway from the kitchen to the walk-in cooler/dishwashing area was not equipped with a protective cover.ACTION REQUIRED: 1) Repair the broken hand dryer.2) Repair the walls in the mop sink area.3) Install a light cover on the indicated light.__________________2023-02-071) One bathroom was closed and the sink was missing a component to function properly. The operator said that the sink requires a specialized part and it is not clear when it will be available. All other bathrooms were found in operation during the time of the inspection.

The operator mentioned that head office had been notified about the ice maker.
