Ensure food contact surfaces like cutting boards are kept clean and sanitary to prevent food cross contamination. **Cutting board was washed and sanitized during the inspection.2. Ice scoop was observed stored in the ice well at the bar area. Ensure the ice scoop is stored separate from the ice in a scoop holder.**Please remove scoop from the ice well.

Two were found in the trap under the two compartment food preparation sink, one in the trap on the east side of the back door, and one at the east patio doors.Ensure that adequate pest control is taking place in the facility. Ensure that doors are remaining closed to prevent entry.

- Paper towel for both hand wash sinks in the bar were not stored on dispensers.Store paper towel in dispensers to help protect it from contamination.

- August 29, 2022:Weather stripping has been replaced on some of the exit doors. Weather stripping for the remaining doors has been ordered. In the time being, place traps on either side of each entrance door. As discussed, all facility doors must remain closed at this time. August 26, 2022:Conditions existed that allowed for the entry and harbourage of pests in the facility, including, but not limited to: facility main entrance doors, and south and west patio doors were all left open, the north exit door located in the kitchen had a gap at the bottom where light could be seen, and doors for the “Ricardo’s Hideaway” dining room had gaps at the base. There was a gap at the base of the stairs to the west of the staff room. Ensure that conditions that allowed for the entry and harbourage of pests do not exist. This includes sealing entry points and harborage areas, and keeping facility doors closed.
