      • The concentration of chlorine sanitizer solution in a spray bottle was measured to be at 10ppm. 100ppm solution was prepared with the assistance of the PHI during inspection.Please use the chlorine test strips at the facility to measure the sanitizer concentration and ensure the required 100ppm is maintained.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records were not observed. An AHS checklist was given to the operator during inspection. Implement a monthly pest control/check as discussed. Ensure records are kept for review during inspection.

      • food permit application was submitted as “Strathcona Child Development Centre” listed as the business ownership.AHS files indicated that the business name is 2577483 Alberta Ltd. listed, which doesn’t match. Operator advised to re-submit a FPA to update the correct information on teh food permit. report e-mailed to [email protected]

      • Sanitizer solution measured 0 ppm chlorine residual.A new solution of sanitizer was created with a chlorine residual of 100 ppm.

      • A cup was being used as a dry good scoop and stored directly inside bulk food.Operator replaced the cup with a handled scoop.
