- The diapering surfaces did not have a way to secure the child in place (laundry diapering area, large washroom diaper stand)please attach a belt right to the diapering table so that the belt comes up and over the child being diapered to secure in place

- (1) There were some water damaged ceiling panels throughout. One ceiling panel in the laundry room was cracked and could potentially fall on the diaper change station below. There was a water-stained and moldy ceiling panel above the cupboards in the laundry room. There was a water damaged ceiling panel above the storage cabinet in the Sunshine (Infant) room. Confirm there is no water infiltration in these areas.(2) There were some water damaged ceiling panels throughout. One ceiling panel in the laundry room was cracked and could potentially fall on the diaper change station below. There was a water-stained and moldy ceiling panel above the cupboards in the laundry room. There was a water damaged ceiling panel above the storage cabinet in the Sunshine (Infant) room. Confirm there is no water infiltration in these areas.(3) The wooden cupboard under the laundry room diapering station sink was worn out. The area was stained and the raw wood was exposed.

- It was noted that staff use soapy water followed by surface disinfectant without a rinse step between. No mixing of chemicals, if soap is used on a surface, toy, dish then it must be rinsed prior to being sanitized with a chemical such as Oxiver or a bleach sollution. Discussed and provided written information via email.

- (1) There was dirt and debris under the diaper change pad in the toddler washroom. Discussed keeping all diaper areas clean and clear of any items. Only the diaper pad should be on the diaper station top. Gloves and supplies should be in a separate designated area/shelf. This makes it easier to spray and wipe down the surface of the diaper change station on a regular basis.

- CDI - The label on a spray bottle was worn out. Staff relabeled the bottle using a Sharpie marker at the time of inspection.

- (1) Items that cannot be easily cleaned and disinfected were still out in the rooms for children to use. During the outbreak, ensure all items that cannot be cleaned and disinfected are removed from use. This includes any cardboard box items, books, natural materials (pinecones, wood pieces), foam blocks, play clothes, plush toys, etc. ** Also, ensure all arts and crafts materials and supplies are handed out to each child instead of using communal bins where kids handle all items themselves and reuse the supplies.

- CDI - The cutlery in all the rooms was stored with the service end facing upwards. Staff corrected this during the inspection. Ensure that all cutlery is stored with the service end down to prevent contamination of the clean, service end that goes into the mouth.
