      • The handwashing station in the "Blue Jays" room was observed to be in disrepair at the time of inspection. Please ensure that all handwashing stations are properly operating to help ensure and encourage proper and regular hand hygiene.

      • Medicated creams were observed in client-accessible cupboards at a diapering station in the "Hummingbirds" room and a cabinet in the "Sparrow" room. The medicated creams in the "Sparrow" room were moved after discussing with management. Covers were observed to be missing for exposed outlets in the "Robin" and "Sparrow" rooms. Covers were found and replaced after discussing with management. Thumbtacks were observed to be used for displaying items on walls at the time of inspection. A client-accessible drawer containing staples and thumbtacks was also observed to be without a child-proof lock. Please ensure that hazards such as medications, exposed outlets, and thumbtacks are inaccessible to clients.

      • Bedding was observed to be stored in an inappropriate manner in one of the client rooms at the time of inspection. The operator was informed of the concerns.Please ensure that bedding is stored in a manner that is clean and sanitary, and prevents cross-contamination.
