   • 05. Are communicable diseases at this facility being properly managed?
     • The facility was using oxivir plus disinfectant. The contact time was noted to be 5 minutes and too long for staff to properly disinfectant surfaces. A new bleach solution was made immediately upon request measuring 1000ppm chlorine.Operators stated that they will switch to a bleach solution (100ppm during non-outbreak and 1000ppm during outbreak) or Oxivir TB for a shorter contact time for proper disinfection. Please ensure appropriate test strips are obtained if you are using bleach solution.
