      • At the time of the inspection, a washroom tap in the Blueberries room was measured at a maximum of 48.3°C (quite close to the recommended maximum of 49°C) and at 50-55°C at two of the taps in the Yellow Room (exceeds acceptable maximum). Although handwashing is supervised by staff in these rooms, please ensure the taps are temperature-regulated so as not to exceed 49°C, particularly for the Yellow Room.

      • The wall behind the mirrors in the washroom within the Squiggly Room is showing signs of wear. Please ensure the wall is re-tiled.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • The garbage bin in the School-Age Room washroom (near the cubbies) was observed to be full and overflowing with paper towels at the time of the inspection.Please ensure the washrooms are monitored periodically throughout the day and bins are emptied as needed.

      • In the "Young Toddler" room, the sanitizing solution for the diapering area was observed within reach of the children. This was moved out of reach when brought to the attention of the care provided.*** Please ensure that the sanitizing spay bottles are maintained out of reach of the children in care. ***
