Ensure the temperature of hot water at the faucet is not more than 54°C (recommended maximum is 49°C).Update: May 15, 2026Temperature of hot water was at 58 Deg C. Operator stated that they will correct the violation and contact me for a follow-up inspection.

    • 16. Does the social care facility have adequate lighting?
      • Junior Room Washroom: light bulb was burnt out in one light fixture. New light bulbs were installed during inspection. Ensure social care facility has adequate lighting in all rooms including the washrooms.

      • Kinder Room: Temperature of hot water at the hand washing sink in the room was 57 Deg C. Temperature of the hot water accessible to clients of this social care facility is too hot. Ensure the temperature of hot water at the faucet is not more than 54°C (recommended maximum is 49°C).

      • Pre-School: Liquid soap dispenser inside the washroom was empty. Dispenser was refilled during inspection. Ensure liquid soap dispenser is refilled immediately once its empty.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • 0 ppm was detected in the sanitizer spray bottle. Virox and bleach bottles were mislabeled. Sanitizer test papers have expired as well. Staff were educated on the matter and expired chlorine test papers were replaced with new ones. Ensure chemicals are labeled properly and expired test papers are not used to verify sanitizer concentration.

      • Infant Room: The diapering mat was in disrepair, preventing adequate disinfection from taking place.Please ensure the mat is replaced.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • Junior Room: A cart of toys was stored in the washroom at the time of the inspection. Staff removed the cart from the washroom during the inspection.

      • The sanitizing Chlorine solution was found at more than 200 ppm. Staff refilled the sanitizing bottles with the Chlorine sanitizing solution at the right concentration. Ensure the chlorine sanitizing solution is maintained at 100ppm.
