Alchemist Distiller

What else is there to do on the Saturday between Christmas and New Years, than bring an out-of-town guest to Alchemist Distiller?? They were already familiar with the product because we have their gin and apple brandy at home, but it was fun for everyone to actually visit their location and see how it is produced. We enjoyed chatting with Simon while enjoying a few tastings. The tastings gave us a chance to try a few things we hadnt before, and we added their herb liqueur to our Alchemist collection! Nice way to spend some time - the spirits kept us warm on a cold winter day! Merci pour tous Simon!

Everything about this distillery is fabulous. Simon, lead us through a tour of his distillery equipment, he is very knowledgeable and charismatic. The tasting experience and explanation of the flavors was beyond our expectations and the alcohol itself is deliscious.

What a hidden gem. So happy we bumped into the stall at the farmers market, and paid them a visit. Owner was very friendly and gave great experience. Did I mention everything was very tasty, smooth and full of flavour. Worth the visit to try the amazing apple liquor.

Highly recommend a visit! Simon is so knowledgeable and clearly loves sharing his passion with others! We had a fabulous experience learning about the distilling process and very much enjoyed our tasting. The spirits have unique and delicious flavours and we all left with a few bottles in tow. Excellent liqueurs - Always a place for these in my cabinet. Wonderful, complex local flavours and just enough sweetness. Simon has an amazing amount of knowledge and was happy to spend quite a bit of time talking us through his liquid art and their distillery. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!
