A Haven for Wine Lovers: An Unforgettable Winery Experience Nestled in the heart of wine country, this deep-rooted winery is a haven for wine lovers and those who appreciate the authentic crafting of wine with the love and respect of the land. If you are passionate about wine, you must not miss this winery. The winemaker’s passion is matched only by the care and dedication poured into every bottle of wine. At the core of this winery is an amazing selection of wines, each highlighting the skill and artistry of the winemaker. Every sip reveals layers of flavor and character, making each tasting session a journey through the essence of winemaking. We were fortunate enough to have our taste poured by Brad, whose knowledge about the intricacies of wine is impressive. Brad's passion for their work ensures that every visit is both informative and enjoyable. Their warm and attentive approach makes guests feel right at home. In short, this beautiful winery stands out as a top visit for us. We both enjoyed each wine and were particularly delighted by the strawberry jam we purchased, which complemented the wines perfectly. We look forward to seeing this delectable jam included on their website one day! This winery truly epitomizes what it means to craft wine with love and respect for the land, making it a must-visit destination for any wine enthusiast.

Very cute winery - 4 wines with our tasting (a sparkling white, a Chardonnay, and two reds). All were really nice. Also shared some yummy chicken pepperoni…(pork-free, as one guest in our party doesn’t eat pork)… from an Okanagan-based business. Charcuterie boxes available (very limited quantities but they all contained pork, unfortunately). They looked AMAZING though, and reasonably priced. Moon, the tasting guide, was very friendly and told some wonderful anecdotes about the wines and the vineyard. All in all, a great experience. We would highly recommend a visit to Hugging Tree.

Lovely way to begin our 2025 South Okanagan wine tour. All wineries were severely impacted by 2024 frosts so we are interested in hearing how they are recovering. If Hugging Tree is any indication, OK wine families are resilient. We enjoyed the visit and tasted some very pleasant wines.

This winery is average/below average, it is better to pick another one instead of this one from those lots of wineries that are in the region. There was a weird lady who did the tasting, but she wasn't helpful, interested or happy, she didn't really care about how we feel about the winery, or being there. The winery got its name from a tree which branches intertwined in a way that it looks like the branches are hugging each other. But apart from seeing a picture of it after we asked about it, no information was provided where the tree can be seen, even though we were excited, but the customer service was so poor, that she felt like not talking anymore and serve other visitors. Fun fact, that from those approx. 8 wines that were offered, it wasn't possible to taste 3 of them, because: "Sometimes there are not enough guests so we prefer not to open the bottles." My question is how can you expect to purchase any of those more expensive bottles if tasting them is not allowed? The wines that we tasted were not very remarkably good either. We purchased a mediocre white one as a gift.
