      • Observation: Few rodent droppings observed in cabinet.
      • Note: It was stated that cabinet is not in use. No items stored in cabinet aside from a small quantity of paper funnels for vehicles (in bag). Rodent droppings may not be recent; no other signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure above-noted area is properly cleaned and sanitized today. Continue to monitor for new signs of pest activity. Pest control contracted on a monthly basis.

      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure above-noted areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. Food and other debris may potentially attract pest activity. Management informed that pest control technician has been contacted to address recent ant issue. Date to be corrected by: April 24, 2023.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Quats sanitizer spray bottle had no detectable sanitizer.
      • Corrective Action(s): Quats sanitizer must be maintained at 200ppm to properly sanitize food contact surfaces and high contact surfaces. Ensure staff allow the sanitizer concentrate to flow to the top of the dispenser tube prior to filling the bottles. Ensure staff are also using test strips to test the sanitizer strength to verify the proper concentration. Sanitizer spray bottle was refilled at 200ppm at the time of inspection.

      • Observation: Facility was found to have rodent droppings throughout the facility. Facility is currently serviced by professional pest control services every two weeks.
      • Corrective Action(s): Contact pest control services to re-inspect facility. Ensure all potential entry points are sealed to prevent potential pest entry. Store all foods off the floor and in pest-proof containers. Discard any foods which appear to have been contaminated by pests. Facility to develop an action plan to prevent further pest infestation and eliminate existing pest issues.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Hot potentially hazardous foods in the hot holding cabinet were between 48C to 55C. Operator states food was made recently - no evidence of time tracking used to determine when foods were made. This is part of the Food Safety Plan.
      • Corrective Action(s): Hot potentially hazardous foods must be maintained at or above 60C to prevent the growth of pathogens and or the formation of toxins. Food items were discarded by the operator at the time of inspection. Ensure staff use the time tracking option on the hot holding unit.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front handwash station did not have liquid hand soap and cold water tap has difficulty turning on.
      • Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must be easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Liquid hand soap was replaced at the time of inspection.

      • Corrective Action(s): Have facility serviced for pests activity again. All areas affected by rodent droppings must be cleaned and sanitized with a 1:10 bleach concentration. Wipe away droppings with a single use paper towels and discard.

      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Hot holding unit must be able to maintain hot potentially hazardous foods at or above 60C to prevent the growth of pathogens and or the formation of toxins.
      • 2) Service handwash station cold water tap and ensure handwash station has easy access to hot and cold running water.
      • 3) Service or replace the light sensor and ensure cooler unit has lights at all times. This is for employee safety and for cleaning.
