    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Bleach sanitizer solution concentration was tested at 50ppm. Operator was instructed to prepare a fresh sanitizing solution, and this was measured at 100 ppm. Please ensure the concentration of the sanitizing solution is checked regularly and changed when required to allow for proper sanitization of food surfaces.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Food Items were seen cleaned in the hand wash sink. Operator was instructed to remove it. Please ensure that the handwash sink is used solely for handwashing to prevent cross contamination of food.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records have not been filled in the last 3 months. Please ensure pest activities are checked regularly and records are filled in monthly to prevent pest infestation in the facility.

      • -The mechanical ventilation system servicing was overdue.-Operator confirmed that the appointment has been booked for 7th January 2025. Action required:-Please get the servicing.

      • -No evidence of pest infestation/activity were noted during the inspection.-Pest control was done manually, records were present onsite.-A gap was observed underneath the back delivery door (gap could be an entry point for pest). Action required:-Please repair the weatherstripping at the backdoor.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • -Valid permit was not displayed to the public. Action required:-Please take a printout of your food handling permit and paste it on any location which is visible to the public.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • -The mechanical ventilation system servicing was overdue.Action required:-Please get the servicing.
