      • The facility was observed to have a single handwashing sink being used for both diapering activities and general handwashing. Daycare facilities are required to provide a dedicated handwashing sink for use by children and staff during food consumption and other routine handwashing activities. A separate sink must be available for diapering-related handwashing to help prevent cross-contamination and reduce the risk of pathogen transmission. Please replace or repair the sink to meet the requirements.

      • Staff were using the only single basin sink in the classroom for hand washing and dishwashing. This is not an adequate sink set up for dishwashing.Discussed issue with staff onsite and they agreed to use single use disposable dishes/utensils and/or keep food in the dishes sent by parents for warming up and no dishwashing onsite.Single use disposable dishes were available onsite.
