- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): QUAT sanitizer spray bottle was available onsite and 400 PPM QUAT was detected from the spray bottle.
- Corrective Action(s): Staff is aware of the spray bottle but it does not seem like they are using the spray bottle throughout the day for sanitizing food contact surfaces.
- Educated the staff and spoke to the operator over the phone regarding the importance for using a food grade sanitizer throughout the day during food preparation.
- Operator and Manager must ensure all staff is aware of the importance of using a food grade sanitizer and have it readily available as opposed to tucked away below the shelf.
