- 05. Do food handlers refrain from handling food while ill and have acceptable attire and hygiene?
- The manager on site indicated that due to failure of printing equipment, staff were using phones to review the recipe to make product. Observed staff on site change gloves and not handwashing inbetween. Provided education to staff, manager and owner on site. Discusssed proper glove use and hand hygiene - hands must be washed when gloves are changed. Glove use is not to replace handwashing frequently. When tasks are changed, ensure that handwashing is done. When food handling, please avoid touching personal phones, as it will contaminate food products.
