    • 305 - Repeat Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation: During the follow-up inspection equipment/boxes were found stored on the food premises that is not required for business operations.
      • Corrective Action: Remove the equipment/boxes that are not required for food facility business operations. Organize the required equipment and boxes.
    • 306 - Repeat Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: During the follow-up inspection the kitchen floors still had food debris/grime along the walls and underneath kitchen equipment.
      • Corrective Action: Remove the debris/grease along the walls and underneath the kitchen equipment. Ensure to maintain your food establishment as per your approved cleaning and sanitation plan.

    • 202 - Critical Food not processed in a manner that makes it safe to eat [s. 14(1)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) A torn cloth was held inside of the white sushi rice.
      • Corrective Action: Throw away the rice that has been physically contaminated by cloth fibers. Do not store or cover your rice with non-food grade objects.
    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation: Open dry food products were stored on the floor.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure all food products are stored 6-inches above the ground.
    • 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation: Operator has a plumbing issue in the basement of their food facility. The plumbing was repaired; however, the holes were not repaired in the basement allowing pest access. Additionally, food debris was found on the floor acting as a pest attractant.
      • Corrective Action: Repair the holes in the basement wall. Remove the food debris, clean and sanitize the area.
    • 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: Observed grease and grime in areas holding clean dishes. Observed food debris on the floor in the basement. Observed a build-up of grime along the walls and underneath kitchen equipment. Food facility back of house requires deep cleaning.
      • Corrective Action: Remove all grime, food debris, grease. Clean and sanitize the kitchen and basement of your food establishment. Ensure to maintain your food premises, as per the submitted cleaning and sanitation plan.
    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: Basement freezer is not in good working order.
      • Corrective Action: Repair/replace your basement freezer.
    • 312 - Items not required for food premises operation being stored on the premises [s. 18]
      • Observation: Found a chest freezer in the basement with severe mould growth and a putrid smell. Operator said that this chest freezer is not used.
      • Corrective Action: Remove the chest freezer from the food facility if it is not in use.
