      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer detected in the sanitizer container in the dinning area. No sanitizer container was set-up in the main kitchen during the inspection. As per staff, automatic dispenser for the sanitizer is broken.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff manually dispensed the Sink & Surface Cleaner Sanitizer for the two sanitizer containers - concentration verified.
      • Manager must service the dispenser for optimal concentration.
      • Purchase the Sink & Surface Cleaner Sanitizer test strips so staff can tell whether the correct concentration has been dispensed or manually mixed before using.

      • Observation: 2 light fixtures were missing shields.
      • Corrective Action(s): Manager must do one of the following:
      • 1. Replace the missing shields.
      • 2. Purchase light bulb sleeves.
      • 3. Switch to break resistance (e.g. LED) light bulbs.
      • Please ensure to do one of the above in the event the light bulb breaks, leading to potential physical contamination.

    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: 3-4 wooden spoons and 2 cutting boards (red & green) were observed worn out/cracked/with uneven surface. This could result in build up of food debris which could potentially result in bacterial growth. Staff discarded the worn out spoons and replaced them with new ones during inspection. Staff stated that both cutting boards will be replaced as they have new ones in storage room.
      • - Lids of 4 storage bins were taped with duct tape. Duct tapes have sticky surface that could collect dust/food debris which can not be adequately cleaned and sanitized.
      • Corrective Action(s): Please remove the duct tape off the storage bin lids and ensure that all equipment/food contact surfaces are maintained in good working order.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One can of OceanSpray Cranberry sauce (348ml) was found dented and stored along with other cans. Staff stated that they are aware of dented can and will be returning it to the supplier. Food stored in the dented cans can be potentially contaminated and not fit for public consumption.
      • Corrective Action(s): Either discard the dented can or return it to supplier. Also, have a designated storage space for food products that are damaged/need to be returned and keep them separate from other food products.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 5 small garbage bags were used for storing raw chicken in walk in freezer. Garbage bag is not made of an acceptable food grade material and can seep toxic chemicals into the food which may result in potential food contamination. All 5 garbage bags with raw chicken were discarded by staff during inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Please use food contact surfaces/utensils made of smooth, impervious, easy to clean, non-toxic and acceptable food grade material for storing any food products.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1 spatula was found worn out from the sides and had uneven broken edges that were breaking into pieces upon touching. These small pieces could break down during food handling and may cause potential physical contamination of food. Staff discarded the spatula during inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that all food contact surfaces are maintained in good working order at all times.
