- Observation: 1. Garbage bags were noted in-use to line the produce cooler display shelving.
- 2. Some handles of the bulk bin dispensers were noted in contact with the food.
- Corrective Action(s): 1. Remove all garbage bags as these are non-food grade material. Garbage bags are coated with a odor suppressing chemical and this chemical may leach into food, leading to a chemical hazard.
- 2. Store bulk bin dispensers in a manner where the handles do not come into contact with food. If someone's hands are dirty/ contaminated, this may be transferred to the handles and will contaminate any food that the handles comes into contact with.
- Clean and sanitize the dispensers and store them appropriately.
