- Observation: -Evidence of rodent droppings in several areas of the kitchen, including under the dishwasher, in the back area where the hot water tank is. It's hard to tell how recent these droppings are, as proper cleaning is needed for the kitchen as well. Professional pest control by Abell is present on-site
- Corrective Action(s): -Properly clean up droppings (See code 306 for further information). Remove all food debris and food/water sources for pests. Increase pest control service to every two weeks. - Observation: Food debris and grease build up in several areas of the kitchen including the area under the 2 compartment sink dish area, under the dishwasher near the wall, under the cooling stoves, the fume hoods in the kitchen
- Corrective Action(s): -Thorough cleaning of the kitchen areas to remove food debris and rodent droppings is needed. Proper and safe cleaning up of rodent droppings is important. A bleach solution of 20ml bleach to 980ml of water should be made, and poured on to droppings while wearing a proper mask and gloves. Wait 10 minutes, then wipe up the droppings. DO NOT sweep or vacuum rodent droppings. WorksafeBC has information on their website about proper cleaning of rodent issues. Date to be corrected by: Today
