- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): -Noted handwashing sink beside produce section was blocked and not in use at time of visit.
- -No dispenser for paper towel at hand sink in washroom
- Corrective Action(s): -This hand washing sink must be accessible and fully stocked (liquid soap and paper towel in wall mounted dispensers) for hand washing by employees at all time. Proper handwashing is essential for all employees. This is a critical violation and may result in issuance of a violation ticket

- Observation: Processed fruits and vegetables, and packages labelled "keep refrigerated" were stored in the malfunctioning display cooler. Temperatures ranged from 7-15C.
- Corrective Action(s): Move all processed fruits and vegetables into the back walk-in cooler. If you wish to use this cooler to display processed fruits and vegetables, it must be discarded after 2 hours. Manager stated that the display cooler is to be completely replaced next week.

- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cut watermelons stored at 15C for ~7 hours (8am - 3pm). This is unacceptable, as pathogens from the rind of the melon are transferred to the flesh of the melon during cutting. Cut fruits must be stored below 4C to control bacterial growth. Watermelons were discarded afterwards.

- Observation: Cooler temperature observed to be 15C. Infrared thermometer reading confirmed by built-in thermometer in cooler unit, Potentially hazardous foods were being stored in this cooler (see above violation, code 205). Cooler in question is the long display unit on left side of store. Potentially hazardous foods may not be stored in this cooler until it is capable of maintaining a temp of 4C or less.
