      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash stations were not equipped with liquid soap. The soap dispensers are put away due to painting of the walls of the premises.
      • Corrective Action(s): Make sure to have liquid soap at all times for all handwashing stations. Having pump soaps are recommended until the soap dispensers get affixed again or mounted ok walls. Washing hands with soap is essential to prevent direct contamination of foods and prevent foodborne illness.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The ventilation hood on cook line is observed to have accumulation of dirt and grease. Ventilation hood maintenance is due Sept 30 2025
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean ventilation hood to remove the dirt and grease to avoid any drippings over food during cooking. Ensure to clean the ventilation hoods regularly if grease is accumulating. Contact the maintenance services to clean the hood.

      • Bistro preparation fridge in need of cleaning.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean and relocate tubs so that they will not get splashed with food debris.
      • Store items at least 6 inches off the floor.
      • Thoroughly clean and maintain the walk in coolers and prep fridge.
      • Clean the seam between the two compartment sink and the drainboard for the dishwasher.
      • Clean the floors under shelves in the dry storage.

      • Do not use table unless it is finished or replaced so that it is easily cleanable. Move it away from dirty dish area.

      • Seal on freezer door is allowing ice to build up outside at bottom of the door.
      • Corrective Action(s): Replace liners so that the shelf is smooth, washable and easily cleanable.
      • Repair or replace seal along freezer door to prevent ice build up.

      • Observation: 1) Lower shelves in kitchen have spillage on them.
      • 2) Found staff member improperly using the degreaser.
      • 3) Seal around freezer door in need of repair. Ice is building up around on the doorway between walk in cooler and walk in freezer causing mold to grow. Defrost and thoroughly clean with a detergent.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Thoroughly clean and maintain all lower shelves.
      • 2) Ensure that the degreaser is labelled properly and used correctly as per manufacturers instructions. ie. Rinse off thoroughly.
      • 3) Defrost ice build up and thoroughly clean with a detergent.
