      • Push pins and exposed staple pins were observed on facility's walls.-Please cover exposed staple pins with adhesive tape and replace push pins with appropriate protective materials for securing items to walls. This will help prevent potential injury and limit children’s access to hazardous materials.

      • The caulking around the hand sink in 4-5 years washroom was becoming worn.-Please replace with new sealant to prevent potential water infiltration.

      • Bleach sanitizer bottles were observed without chemical label.Please label all chemical bottles with appropriate chemical names and their concentration to prevent misuse.

      • 1. Peeling painted walls observed in toddler and preschool rooms.-Please repair to maintain good repair.2. Diapering handwashing sink was being used to clean and sanitize toys.-Please do not diapering sink to clean/sanitize. Provide and use a designated toy sink for this purpose.

      • Several shelves throughout the facility have raw wood exposed or are in disrepair. Ensure shelving units throughout the facility are repainted, resurfaced or replaced.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. The lid for the water table in the tulip room has raw wood exposed. Refinish so that it is smooth and easily cleanable or replace.2. There was a build up of grime on toys and chairs located in the tulip room, baby room, sunflower room, and lily room. Ensure these items are cleaned.

      • There are old mouse droppings located in storage rooms on the top floor. Ensure these areas are cleaned and sanitized.
