    • 19(2)(b) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator: (b) adequately designed and appropriately located hand-washing facilities;
      • 1 paper towel dispenser requires paper towel. Replaced during the inspection.
    • 29(2)(a) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (a) the food establishment and equipment are maintained, cleaned and sanitized;
      • Sanitizing sink over filled with equipment/utensils Ensure items are fully submerged in the sanitizing sink.

    • 20(2) - FAILING TO HAVE WASHROOM FACILITES CONSTRUCTED, EQUIPPED, & DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NS BUILDING CODE.
      • Positive comment from Local Building authority was provided.
    • 29(2)(a) - INADEQUATE MAINTENANCE, CLEANING, & SANITATION PROGRAM
      • Expired AHP sanitizer product in use removed and supply replenished during inspection (corrected). Grease trap below 3 compartment sink must be properly sealed. Repair / replace to meet all plumbing code requirement. Replace broken thermometer front undercounter fridge. Educate staff to not wear jewelry and ensure followed. Male washroom was due for routine cleaning.

      • Provide positive comment from local building authority that renovated washrooms comply with Building Code.
    • 29(2)(d) - FAILING TO ENSURE MAINTENANCE, CLEANING & SANITAITON PROGRAM INCLUDES PROCEDURES TO ENSURE ALL WASTE STREAMS IN& SURROUNDING FOOD ESTABLISHMENT ARE MANAGED.
      • Increased size / volume of dumpster(s) appeared to be required to prevent overflows into building and / or frequencies for disposal increased.
