      • Observation: Temperature of the cooler by the drive-through area was measured above 4°C. Potentially hazardous food items such as sauces were observed to be stored in the same cooler. (Public health significance) - Storing potentially hazardous food items in the temperature danger zone for prolonged periods may cause growth of illness causing pathogens, such contaminated food items if consumed may result in food-borne illness.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to ensure that the cooler by the drive-through area is repaired/serviced such that it maintains the appropriate cold-holding temperature. - Operator volutarily moved the potentially hazardous food items in an appropriately working cooler at the time of inspection.
    • 302 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation: A biofim slime layer was observed to formed in the ice-machine. (Public health significance) - Accumulation of biofilm slime layer in the ice-machine can cause harbourage of illness causing pathogens and can contaminate the ice underneath. Consumption of contaminated ice may result in food-borne illness.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to ensure that the ice-machine is frequently cleaned.
