- Observation: Electrical room in kitchen area of facility is in poor condition and subject to mouse activity and potential harbourage. Difficult to assess as it is very dirty in this room. Pictures taken. Floor in poor condition. Room is not easily cleanable, including walls.
- Corrective Action(s): This room needs a complete cleaning and all equipment removed. Floor should be resurfaced. Wall painted. Any rodent access points into or through facility should be eliminated.
- Should be addressed in renovation as per discussion with staff.

- Observation: Textured and coloured floor tile extending into areas of the kitchen and the tile grout difficult to clean and was observed with accumulations of food debris. Some of the walls around this floor tile also observed with accumulations of food debris.
- Corrective Action(s): This type of floor tile and the state of the tile grout in the kitchen is proving difficult to keep clean. Discussed with staff and a renovation is planned beginning mid November extending into December. The patterned floor tile should be included in renovation.

- Top of walk in cooler is large open square hole (intended for storage and access to cooler's condenser).
- Potential accumulation of debris, access to pests.
- Corrective Action(s): Clean, inventory and seal area to prevent pest access.
- All surfaces must be clean or made of cleanable surfaces.

- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back cooler area is Coop space: from Staff Only door to back door (shared with Tim Hortons Kiosk). This area has 5-10 flies actively flying. Floors have grime or sticky residue.
- Staff mopped down with degreaser/detergent during the inspection, Thank you.
- Corrective Action(s): This area is well used for loading, receiving and requires open/closing of back door. Install a screen to prevent pests.
- Install more effective fly light or use other traps.
- Refer to pest control contractor to come up with plan moving forward.
- Maintain clean surfaces in this area to prevent flies from accumulating.

- Observation: Floors were sticky at time of inspection. Floors behind slushy machine observed to be dirty/dried up sticky liquid
- Corrective Action(s): Pull slushy machines out and deep clean the area that is dirty. Maintain on a regular basis. Outside of walkin cooler has residue on corner and above the cooler. Date to be corrected by: ASAP

- Observation: Upright sandwich cooler registered 9-10 degrees C at the time of inspection. All sandwiches and potentially hazardous food products were transferred to the walk-in cooler by staff.
- Corrective Action(s): Repair or service the unit so that it maintains all foods at 4 C or below. ( immediately). Do not use this cooler untill it maintains 4 C or below.
