      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff observed putting on a pair of gloves without washing their hands.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff instructed to wash their hands. Management to remind staff that hands must be washed before and and after glove use.

      • Observation: (1) Bag of thawed out fries left inside the broken prep frezer. Mould growth noted on the fries.
      • (2) Food debris and/or dust accumulation noted in the following areas:
      • - On shelves of prep freezer.
      • - Storage area under the deli meat display cooler.
      • - Condenser fan covers in the walk in cooler.
      • Corrective Action(s): (1) Fries were discarded during the inspection. Do not store any perishable food inside the broken prep freezer.
      • (2) Throughly clean/sanitize above mentioned areas. Send inspector photo once complete.

      • Observation: Prep freezer broken. Manager indicated that a work order has been placed and they are waiting to hear back if a part is needed or if the unit needs to be replaced. Staff are currently taking out frozen items from the walk in freezer as needed.
      • Corrective Action(s): Repair/replace prep freezer. Do not store any perishable foods inside this unit until it can maintain a temperature of -18C or colder.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed one fly land on one of the deli sandwiches as they were being prepared. Staff preparing them at the time walked away to attend to a customer.
      • Corrective Action(s): Discarded contaminated sandwich immediately. Be mindful when actively preparing food and stepping away to help customers.
