    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • -The temperature at the handwashing sink in the toddler washroom was measured at 56.4C.-The temperature at the hand sink in the preschool washroom was measured at over 54C. -The temperature at the hand washing sink in the Kinder/OSC room was measured at 54.9C.The recommended maximum hot water temperature is 49C. Please ensure that the temperature at the hand sinks is no greater than 49C.> July 17, 2025 - Outstanding -The operator indicated that a new plumbing system will be installed before winter and confirmed that children are always supervised during handwashing.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • -A bleach solution bottle and Lysol toilet bowl cleaner were stored in an unlocked cabinet accessible to children in the preschool washroom. The chemicals were removed onsite. The operator later provided photos of new locks installed on the cabinet.-The laundry room was unlocked. Laundry detergent was on the floor. Corrected onsite.Please ensure that cabinets and rooms containing chemicals and other hazards remain locked at all times.

      • Fabric attached to the sides of sleeping cots in the smart toddler room was visibly stained and soiled. It was unclear if this was present on all cots. Please wash and sanitize. Ensure that laundry is being completed at least once weekly or whenever wet or soiled.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The rug in the smart toddler room was visibly soiled. The operator later provided photos of the clean rug after steam cleaning, along with other cleaned rugs in the facility.

      • Cleaning checklists were available and being completed; however, some surfaces, such as cubbies, stools, and high-touch surfaces like doors and doorknobs, were visibly unclean.Please ensure these areas are cleaned thoroughly. Please update your checklists to include these areas and include the cleaning methods and chemicals to be used.

      • -The preschool washroom surfaces like stools, and high-touch areas like doors and doorknobs, were visibly unclean. The operator provided photos of the cleaned washroom. Please ensure these areas are thoroughly cleaned regularly and kept in a clean condition.

      • - Water temperature measured above 54 degrees Celsius observed in the infant, toddler, preschool, and OSC. Staff were advised and lowered the temperatures to meet compliance.
