      • A designated toy washing sink was not observed. Please ensure that a designated plumbed in toy washing sink is present in the facility.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • Water temperature was noted to be at 12 degrees C. Please increase the water temperature and ensure it is maintained between 38 - 49 degrees C, ideally at 43 degrees C.

      • A designated toy washing sink was not observed. Please ensure that a designated plumbed in toy washing sink is present in the facility.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. The operator indicated that they use utility sink to fill bins for toy washing and toy washing occurs every two weeks. Please be advised that a plumbed in sink must be used as a designated toy washing sink. Bins must not be used for toy washing. Please increase toy washing frequency.2. Slivers were noted on the wire wheels. These were removed during the inspection. The operator was further advised to ensure that all toys are free of hazards.

      • Water temperature was noted to be at 68 degrees C. Please decrease the water temperature and ensure it is maintained below 49 degrees C.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • The concentration of bleach solution was noted to be at 10 ppm. Please be advised that the bleach solution must be maintained at 100 ppm.
