      • Exit door was prompted open. This was corrected during inspection. Please ensure exit door remains secured to prevent vermin entry.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Additional sanitation needs to be completed. Areas were discussed with the operator. Floors require extra cleaning. Under shelves debris were observed. Please clean and disinfect areas. Ensure garbage is adequately disposed.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • * Breaded chicken strips were measured by the operator with a probe thermometer and measured to be approx. 56.9 C (no labels were observed). Ensure this is addressed immediately.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • *Exposed wood surfaces observed (microwave shelf). Ensure all areas are impervious to moisture and easy to clean.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • * Additional sanitation needs to be completed. Please clean and disinfect areas discussed onsite. Ensure garbage is adequately disposed.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The weatherstripping for the back exit door was in disrepair. Light outside can be seen underneath the door. Please repair or replace the weatherstripping to help prevent pest entry into the facility.

    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Dishes were being stored in the three-compartment sink in a way which prevented effective washing, rinsing and sanitizing. The first compartment was being used for washing while the second and third compartment were being used for storage of dirty dishes awaiting cleaning. The employee could not demonstrate 3-comparmtment sink dishwashing procedure. The PHI's educated the staff during the inspection on how to properly wash dishes in a three-compartment sink.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • A shelving unit adjacent the handwashing sink at the back food preparation area was obstructing easy access. The shelf was moved by the operator during inspection.Please ensure all handwashing sinks at the facility are easily accessible to facilitate proper handwashing.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Some flies were observed at the food preparation and food service areas. Please work with your pest control company to ensure the infestation in controlled. Ensure the drive through window is closed when not in use.

    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • A drink preparation cup and funnel were stored with a scissors at the food preparation area. The operator removed the cup and funnel for washing and sanitizing during the inspection. Please ensure utensils are properly stored to prevent cross-contamination.
