      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observations in the middle shelf of the fresh dairy and deli cooler:
      • 1 carton of 2% milk and half and half cream both at 473 ml measured approximately 8.8C. 1 jug of chocolate milk at 1L measured approximately 12C
      • Corrective Action(s): Discarded the items above 4C. Do not sell food stored above 4C in the fresh dairy and deli cooler.

    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: Fresh dairy and deli cooler measures approximately 8.2C in the middle shelf only.
      • Corrective Action(s): Case has been created with area facilities manager and a new cooler will arrive in 3-5 weeks from July 12, 2024.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Several foods are stored and displayed in the fresh dairy and deli cooler at a temperature above 4C. Boiled egg package and 473ml carton of 2% milk measured approximately 11.6C and 13.7C respectively
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff agreed that all cold potentially hazardous foods are to be discarded and created a case with the 7eleven mobile device scanner. Do not store potentially hazardous foods in this cooler until it can be verified by an Environmental Health Officer. This has been a repeated violation.

      • Observation: Fresh Dairy & Deli cooler measuring above 4C depending on the shelf level. Top shelf measured approximately 20C, middle shelf measured approximately 11C, and bottom shelf measured approximately 10C.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff created a case to have the Fresh Dairy & Deli cooler repaired so that it can maintain 4C or less. Do not store potentially hazardous foods in this cooler until it can be verified by an Environmental Health Officer.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Display cooler for Fresh Dairy & Deli appeared to be on a defrost cycle during the inspection. Temperatures were noted to go down on the digital display. One eggs 2 go package was probed to measure approximately 13.6C. A thermometer measuring between 2 packages of 7 eleven beef burgers measure approximately 12.0C Photos taken. Temperature records were shown to be in compliance at 6:00am today. Air and package temperatures in other areas measure approximately 5C. 2 wall thermometers measure less than 4C after the apparent defrost cycle.
      • Corrective Action(s): Discard all potentially hazardous foods that were noted to be above 4C. Manager created a case for this identified issue. Do not store or display cold potentially hazardous foods above 4C in this display cooler until the temperatures have been verified from an Environmental Health Officer.
