      • 2 comp sink tap cold water supply is shut off. Only hot water supply available.

      • As per the operator, the cold water pipe was shut off intentionally as the packing for the cold water knob is broken and the water leaks through the knob when the cold water supply stays connected. Operator stated technician is coming today to fix this issue.

      • Corrective Action(s): Remove clutter, boxes, empty bottles, spilled food/food debris and do a thorough cleaning in all the areas. Contact a pest control company and follow all recommendations made by the technician.

      • D) Noted bellini machine on the floor of the bar area filled with coke. Operator said they were trying it out to see if it works for freezing liquids but it does not and need to have it fixed.
      • Corrective Action(s): Remove empty boxes and empty bottles from the premises. Clean up any spilled food/food debris/stains. Empty and clean the bellini machine.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Noted a blender tip in the hand sink at the end of the cookline. The hand sink beside the dishwasher was blocked with a garbage can and had towels stored in it. The hand soap at the hookah bar hand sink was still not mounted on the wall and the hand sink at the bar area had a jug in it.
      • Corrective Action(s): Mount the soap dispenser at the hookah area hand sink or obtain a pump style hand soap dispenser for this hand sink. Do not store anything in the designated hand wash stations at any time. Ensure all hand wash stations remain unobstructed at all times.

      • Observation: Drip tray at the bar is still located over the ice well. No ice in ice well at time of inspection. Premises has just opened for operation. Chef on duty said bags of ice are purchased.
      • Corrective Action(s): Operator is to relocate drip tray so it is not over the ice well and install another splash guard between the drip tray and the ice well. This issue was noted on the previous inspection report.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Noted both hand sinks in the food preparation area were obstructed. One had a cutting board over it and the other had a box in it. The wall mounted soap dispenser in the hookah preparation room had fallen down the wall where it was obstructed by the table beside it. The hand sink in the bar area had two mixing spoons in it.
      • Corrective Action(s): Do not obstruct hand wash stations or any of their equipment (ie. soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser). Ensure hand wash stations and their equipment are fully accessible at all times.

      • Observation: Noted drip tray pan installed slight over the ice well at the bar.
      • Corrective Action(s): Move drip tray pan over so it is not above the ice well. Also install a splash guard between the drip tray and the ice machine.

      • Observation: Noted glass washer installed at the bar area and a bellini machine on the floor at the bar area. Also noted ice machine installed in the food preparation area. Operator said that permits have been obtained for the ice machine, the bellini machine is not in use and the glass washer is not hooked up.
      • Corrective Action(s): Operator to send permit for ice machine installation to the undersigned. The bellini machine and glass washer are to be removed from the premises. A follow up inspection will be conducted to verify this. Updated floor plans and food safety and sanitation plans are to be submitted for approval before making any changes to the premises.
