    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Lemon scented bleach was observed in use. Please use non scented, food grade bleach for sanitizing purposes in the kitchen.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • A probe thermometer was not observed onsite. Please acquire probe thermometer to monitor temperatures of reheated high-risk products to a minimum of 74C.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control template had not been completed since April 2025. Please ensure completed monthly while facility is in use.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • One of the bottom cabinets in the kitchen, directly under the drink and chocolate display, had an unfinished edge that was not smooth durable or easy to clean. Please repair or replace. Unfinished wood was also observed under the microwave unit. Please remove or finish the wood to ensure it is smooth, impervious to moisture and easy to clean.

      • Chlorine test strips were not available during inspection.

      • The dish drying rack was visibly dirty and requires a deep clean.
